The ditch corresponds with a depicted trackway.

By the end of the 19th century the trackway had been diverted to the east.

A section of curvilinear ditch circa 60m long and between 5m and 12m in width is visible as an earthwork on images derived from lidar data captured in 2016. The ditch corresponds to a trackway depicted on the Tithe Map. The track is depicted as having been diverted to the east on the First Edition OS map. The ditch is interpreted as a section of medieval to 19th century trackway or road, that passed out of use by the end of the 19th century.
