Summary
A probable target butt of fairly recent origin, situated on a steep W-facing slope at SX55068446. It is a broad but short curvilinear bank a maximum 1.6m high with a slot in the downhill side. Located and surveyed as part of the RCHME Willsworthy project in 1998.

(30/06/1998) SX 55068446. A probable target butt lies on a fairly steep W-facing slope in the saddle between Hare and Doe tors at 490m above OD.
It comprises a turf-covered broad curvilinear bank 1.6m high on the downslope side and 0.8m high on the upslope side. A short trench 0.2m wide and 0.25m deep halfway down the W side probably held the target.
