Summary
Two disused and well preserved target butts complete with swivel target rails and their associated bunkers and also a swivel target rail mounted on a rebuilt length of field hedge. They form part of an abandoned battlefield range and now lie in cultivated fields. Surveyed as part of the RCHME Willsworthy project.

(02/09/1998) Two well preserved target butts complete with swivel target holders and their associated bunkers and also a swivel target rail mounted on a constructed bank - part of a field boundary. They form part of an abandoned battlefield range and now lie in cultivated fields.
The butts and their bunkers are similar to those adjacent to the Willsworthy range (SX 58 SW 94; 124; 183).
SX53248257, SX53358255. Two well preserved swivel target rails in situ on linear butts.
SX53428262. A swivel target rail mounted on the modified field hedge. There is no trace of an associated bunker; it may have been effaced.
