(01/09/1998) SX 52858280 and SX 52978282. Two unidentified military earthworks lie on opposite banks of a small tributary of the Willsworthy Brook on the south-western flank of White Hill.
At SX 52858280 is a large rectangular trench 12.0m east-west by 2.5m and 1.2m deep with banks 3.0m wide an 1.2m high on its west and south sides while at SX 52978282 is a square platform, 7.0m by 6.3m cut into the hillside with a bank on the south-west side.
The function of these features is unknown but they do not appear to be related to the line of bunkers and swivel targets (SX 58 SW 94) which lie to the east.
