This stone is one of 46 marking the edge of the military owned property in the Willsworthy area.

Boundary stone 'h' on the south side of the River Tavy inscribed 'WD33' erected soon after 1900 when Willsworthy was purchased by the War Office for use as a firing range.

(29/07/1998) A military boundary stone situated at SX54628203 on the left bank of the River Tavy as it enters the enclosed land SE of Lanehead. The roughly dressed pillar inscribed WD 33, is 0.85m high and 0.3m by 0.25m. Surveyed at 1:2500 scale.
