The depression corresponds with an area of woodland and scrub.

A triangular shaped earthwork depression circa 50m by a max of 40m is visible on images derived from lidar data captured in 2016. The depression does not correspond with any features depicted on historic maps. It corresponds with an area of woodland and scrub depicted on the First and Second Edition OS map. The depression is interpreted as an extractive pit of post-medieval to 19th century origin, that ceased extraction by the end of the 19th century.
