Full description

Royal Commission for the Historical Monuments of England, 1993-1998, Dartmoor Royal Forest Project, H, Riley (Report - Survey). SDV346608.

(17/07/1995) SX 60117106. A possible boundary stone lies recumbent in low heathland vegetation some 5m W of the Nun's Cross to Princetown footpath near Peat Cot Corner. The rough granite post measures 1.6m long, 0.3m wide and 0.3m thick. There is no obvious inscription and the stone appears to have been moved during a recent refurbishment of the footpath.
