Full description

Rainbird, P., 2020, A Middle Bronze Age Enclosure, Late/Post-Roman Pit and Late Medieval/Post-Medieval Cloth Drying Rack at Station Hill, Chudleigh, 145-148; Fig 2 (Article in Serial). SDV364790.

A very shallow pit (F699) was located on the inside lip of the enclosure ditch at the south-west corner. It measured 0.3m by 0.15m by 0.04m deep and had a single charcoal-rich fill which contained a few unidentified nut shells with no finds.
