Visited in 1978 (estimated) A small heather covered cairn on the summit of Brent Fore Hill, not previously recorded. It lies about 100 metres north-west of the main granite outcrop on the summit of Brent Fore Hill, 10 metres north-east of the next rock outcrop. It has not been accurately placed yet but lies just to the north-east side of the summit ridge. It is about 5 metres in diameter and 0.5 metres height, rocky and irregular with a slight central depression.

This record may relate to the same feature as MDV42317. The descriptions of the cairn are very similar and the original grid reference for this record is stated as not being accurate. The aerial photography of the rocky outcrops on Brent Fore Hill indicate that the possible location should be closer to SX662621.
