Summary

A group of military slit trenches on the narrow spur of land to the east of the Manaton to Haytor road on the extreme east of Haytor Down. The trenches are on average 1.5m long and some are sited in a semi-circular arrangement. The date of these features is not known but military activity is recorded by Crossing from the 1880s onwards.
