Chapel, south of Church Street. Probably 19th century Weslyan Chapel, superseded by present Methodist Chapel on opposite side of the road. Depicted on the tithe map. The building has now been entirely reconstructed and is a private house, having been almost completely demolished and rebuilt.

Full description

Robinson, R., Untitled Source (Report - Survey). SDV137185.

Chapel, south of church street. Probably 19th century weslyan chapel, superseded by present methodist chapel. Vis=estimated -/-/1979 (robinson, r. ). This chapel is shown on the tithe apportionment of 1843 where the entry:reads; glebe 3064 chapel, owner rev george baker; glebe 3058 chapel, yard, owner rev george baker. The building has now been entirely reconstructed and is a private house. It is said to have been virtually demolished and rebuilt so there is little of the original chapel fabric surviving.
