Full description

Environment Agency WMS, 2022, Environment Agency LIDAR Composite DSM 2022 - 1m Last return (Cartographic). SDV365448.

Five dispersed circular features visible within this field on the lidar data. Not visible on aerial photographs. All measure around 5-6m in diameter and may represent prehistoric hut circles, the remains affected by ploughing / other historic farming activities.
One lies close to the north-western corner of the field plot, two more are close to the northern boundary of the field and a further two were seen near the south-eastern corner of the field. These may be related to field clearance due to their sittings close to the field corners / boundaries. However, there are a number of other similar features noted in neighbouring field plots which are not all restricted to periphery sites which may support the identification as huts (see related records).
