Track bed (possible) at SX 56409 73448. Possible track bed course intersecting with Royal Oak Siding at its north-west end (at SX 56383 73466) and leading through a hollow/cutting between spoil towards the main quarry workings at the south-east end. Satellite imagery (NLS) indicates it running for c.70-75m to SX 56441 73430, a point only c.15m away from the end of the track bed's continuation onto spoil heap DR+T_FQ_014 from the main quarry entrance - albeit at a different level. The north-west end is directly opposite the near end of track bed DR+T_FQ_002. The alignment suggests the possibility of there being an earlier route connected to that out through the quarry entrance which linked up with this potential track bed/feature and then continued onto DR+T_FQ_002 - predating spoil tip DR+T_FQ_014 and the Royal Oak Siding.
The feature, which has the appearance of a slightly curving hollow, is almost completely inundated with dense reeds.
