Full description

South West Heritage Trust, 1838-1848, Digitised Tithe Maps and Transcribed Apportionments, Plot 668 (Cartographic). SDV359954.

The Tithe Map depicts a range of buildings in this plot (668). Recorded on the apportionment as 'Two Cottages and a stable', the mapping is a little unclear but this building appears to be represented.

Ordnance Survey, 1880-1899, First Edition Ordnance Survey 25 inch map (Cartographic). SDV336179.

The late 19th century historic map shows this building clearly. A label indicating 'Mission Room' is shown nearby, but appears to refer (with an arrow) to one of the cottages to the south-east (MDV134613).

Ordnance Survey, 1904 - 1906, Second Edition Ordnance Survey 25 inch Map (Cartographic). SDV325644.

Largely unchanged on the early 20th century historic map. 'Mission Room' is still indicated, but now much closer to this building, so is thought to now be housed in this building.

Ordnance Survey, 2023, Mastermap 2023 (Cartographic). SDV365227.

'Ebenezer Cottage' is depicted on the modern mapping.
