Summary

Structure associated with clay channel. Remains. Purpose not identified. Vis=-/4/1978 (robinson, r. ). A level rectangular space with a low wall on its upper side adjoins the course of the china clay culvert from knattabarrow pool, about halfway along its course beside the gulley above the old mine house. It measures about 2m by 6m slanting obliquely to the culvert and appears to have been deliberately levelled. The walling is crude, about 0.5m high and partly turfed over.
