Full description

Robinson, R., Untitled Source (Report - Survey). SDV137185.

Vis=estimated -/-/1978 (robinson, r. ). A barn in the valley of the horsebrook about 700m north of horsebrook farm is marked on the 1843 tithe apportionment for south brent. Its site is now densely overgrown, a small enclosure close against the abandoned kingsbridge line railway, and only a few traces of slate rubble walling are visible. It may have fallen into disuse when the railway was built. The adjacent field tithe no.3498 is 'barn park'. The barn is listed under the weekes horsebrook schedule but is now on land belonging to sopers horsebrook farm. On the current os 6" map the enclosure to the east side of the railway is marked but not the barn.
