Full description

Unknown, 1840, Kingsteignton (Cartographic). SDV339592.

Shown on 19th century Kingsteignton Tithe Map as Plot No 11.

Ordnance Survey, 1880-1899, First Edition Ordnance 25 inch map (Cartographic). SDV336179.

Site of 'Mill Leat' shown on 19th century map running southwest from a 'Weir' on the River Teign at SX85647790 via a 'Sluice' to 'Bellamarsh Mills' at SX85257724 and into a 'Mill Pond' to the south. The 'Mill Leat' then runs south to 'Rixeypark Corner' where it turns southwest along the north side of Clay Lane and rejoins the River at SX84807625. The leat is circa 2 kilometers long by circa 2 meters wide.
