Full description
Ordnance Survey Archaeology Division, 1978 - 1981, SS32SW18 (Ordnance Survey Archaeology Division Card). SDV341646.
1. Three fields on the Woolfardisworthy Tithe Map incorporate the name 'Beacon'.(os).
2. Visited 6/12/1978. No mounds were seen which might have been the site of a beacon.

Further work identified 8 fields with name, between boundaries at SS3462 2360, SS34722329, SS34642323 and road SS34502340.
