Summary

Two cottages and adjacent house, westmill cottages and westmill house, recorded in buckfastleigh parish during surveillance of a38 roadworks. Demolished during construction of ashburton to buckfastleigh diversion (miles). It must be assumed that the 'two cottages' refered to above were formerly the mill itself, although ngr slightly wrong. For westmill house, see sx76nw/76 (dmg). Vis=3/11/1983 (griffiths) site entirely destroyed by a38.
