Eylesbarrow Reave is a watershed reave which separates the watershed of the Plym from that of the Meavy, it extends from the Plym at Cadworthy Wood to the summit of Eylesbarrow, a distance of approximately 6 kilometres. Though the reave can be traced from end to end, there are now gaps along its length which result in its preservation in separate sections of unequal length.
This section runs across a spur on the 320 meter contour and down the north-east slope of Ringmoor Down and Gutter Tor for a distance of some 700 meters and consists of a stone and earth bank up to 0.75 meters in height and 3.0 meters in width. There are two cairns immediately on its south side. Other details: SAM: 10627.

Ordnance Survey, 2011, MasterMap (Cartographic). SDV346129.

Various, 2018-2020, PALs Condition Recording forms, UPRM-5 (Worksheet). SDV362781.

(08/11/2019) Condition assessed as ?very good by volunteer recorders, although vegetation encroachment noted as heavy patches of gorse over a 50 yard stretch.
