Full description

Reichel, O. J., 1922, The Manor and Hundred of Crediton, 162,166 (Article in Serial). SDV40070.

Poole was one of twelve prebends granted by Bishop Eadulf in the 10th century. It consisted of the farmhouse and land immediately adjoining the west end of Crediton churchyard, which is still standing.
