(11/05/1982) 'Hut circle' shown on 1982 survey drawing. 'Prehistoric features?' shown immediately to the west.

(03/02/1988) SX 61607394. The feature identified by Greeves (1982) as a hut circle is evident on the gentle east-facing moorland slope as a vague, shallow sub-circular depression with a fortuitous arrangement of boulders lying on its southern side. It is almost certainly not of archaeological significance and it is probably a natural hollow cause by water erosion and the movement of sheltering animals.
No obvious prehistoric features were identified on the upper part of the low rounded hilltop to the west which is more or less covered by scattered earthfast boulders.
