Possible hut circle visible as a sub-circular arc of turf-covered small boulder walling, measuring 1.5 meters wide. The estimated internal diameter of 10.5 meters is however larger than normal. (1977)

Hut number 7 exists as a semi-circular bank of stones which would have originally been a large hut circle, possibly with across wall, but as with number 8, this structure has either never been completed, or (more likely) has been partly demolished. As there is no evidence of any later building in the area to have been the cause for this demolition, Butler argues the hut Bronze Age inhabitants were responsible.

A large, disturbed and partly robbed, hut circle on the moderate west-facing slope of Erme Plains, 180 metres east of the River Erme. One of a group of eight huts forming an unenclosed settlement (MDV4324). The hut was levelled into the slope but only the eastern arc of the walls survive, much disturbed, though fragments of the internal wall face are present and a possible entrance opening is still discernible on the south side. The western wall of the hut has become effaced, leaving only a low scarp to mark its former position. The internal diameter may have been approximately 9.5 metres.
Historic England, 2020, National Heritage List for England, 1002607 (National Heritage List for England). SDV363414.
The monument includes an unenclosed stone hut circle settlement situated on the lower western slopes of Quickbeam Hill to the east of the River Erme. The settlement survives as up to eight stone hut circles with a single orthostatic and rubble built wall connecting two of the huts. The stone hut circles are substantially built from coursed stone and orthostats standing up to 0.9 metres high and vary in size internally from 7 metres to 9 metres in diameter. Two of the huts are apparently incomplete, surviving as partial arcs of walling and one of these has an interior dividing wall. Where entrances are visible they are south facing.
