Summary

Pizwell cottage. Deserted dwelling. Vis=5/6/1968 (haynes). Remains of a house deliberately destroyed, with only one corner remaining above ground. Built of mortared stone with a slate damp course. Small outbuilding. The building is not on the tithe map and was probably built c 1868-1870, when cator common was enclosed. Pulled down in 1930's. Stroll runs east from this point.
