Park at bridwell house. The lake and park were laid out in late c18 at the time bridwell house was built by r. H. Clarke (see st01se/16).

Vis=18/8/1981(beacham + timms) the parkland setting to bridwell house remains largely intact although the eastern part of the original c18 park has been encroached upon by the expansion of uffculme. There is at least one small stone folly/monument in the park to the east of the house (timms).
