Not a tin mill. Name may be derived from a mill opposite this normally dry valley at the lower end of Dry Lake (SX66NW/88).

(02/06/1976) Knocking Mill left bank at SX 6305 6597 (approximately). About 20m south-east of MDV20841. Very dilapidated squarish structure. Not recorded in Newman's 2018 Erme Valley survey.
