Des=greeves, t. /list of doubtful devon tin mills c 1450-c 1750/(1981)no 3 (in smr). Find of tin mouldstone. An incomplete mouldstone (reported) to be seen in the bed of r taw in 1974. Not yet found (greeves).

Des=viant,j. /dtrg newsletter/25(july 2003)2/belstone walk 22nd march 2003. Partly submerged incomplete mouldstone visible in 2003 below the footbridge over the 'river taw'. A mortarstone was also visible a few metres upstream. The stones probably came from a pre 1700 tin mill known to have existed at this location (viant).
