Full description
Ordnance Survey Archaeology Division, SS42NW20 (Ordnance Survey Archaeology Division Card). SDV339922.
Visited 22/11/1980. Externally unimpressive. Outhouse at SS42012688 retains 15th century window in east side but is now mostly blocked on both sides for protection. Other details: Cited by NMR.

House at Shamland. 17th century. Stone. Room with late 17th century panelling and bolection fireplace. Some original 16th century mullion windows.

Farm and barn known as Shamlands situated about half a mile from the church and village of Abbotsham. The farmhouse has been completely reroofed, though the present owner remembered the building having three timber-framed windows (as in the barn) but all now destroyed.
