Two large openworks run downslope from the line of pits. The largest is T-shaped, measuring 200 metres long, 10 metres wide and 2 metres deep. (23/01/1995) A line of large tin pits runs south-west to north-east for some 800 metres (SX 60706944 to SX 61456979), some 200 metres south-east of Nun's Cross Ford. They cut a streamwork (MDV24826) to the south-west end and terminate in a small openwork at the south-east. Two large openworks run downslope from the line of pits. The largest, a conspicuous feature of the surrounding landscape, is T-shaped and measures 200m long, 10m wide and 2m deep. An adit drains its north end, and a reservoir, fed by a leat, served the top end of the openwork. To the west of this is a further openwork, 170m long, 10m wide and 1.5m deep.
