Full description

Unknown, 1840, Thrushelton (Cartographic). SDV252983.

This leat can be traced on the Tithe Map.

Ordnance Survey, 1880s, Ordnance Survey (Cartographic). SDV848.

'Mill Leat' shown on 1880s 25" OS map running southwest from a 'Weir' on a diversion from the 'River Thrushel' at SX46058959 via a 'Sluice' to 'Patchill Mill'.

Summers, P., 1985, Untitled Source (Personal Comment). SDV246292.

Leat to Patchill Mill. This leat took a long southerly course below Patchill Farm, probably leaving the River Thrushel at SX46378976. It was superceded by the northerly leat (PRN 24878) because it was difficult to maintain.
