Two curvilinear ditches or hollows are visible on aerial photographs of the 1940s as slight earthwork features on Crownhill Down. Previously interpreted as intersecting banks, the features have been reinterpreted as slight ditches or hollows, probably trackways of 19th or early 20th century date. They have not been transcribed by the survey.
The earthworks have probably been partly destroyed by modern open cast mining.
