The site of emmerswill mine is included in this area. The mine is of 17th century origin (greeves cited by gray). Vis=18/2/1984 (gray). A number of pits and mounds occur on roborough down south of the parish boundary (gray). Vis=26/10/1985 (gray). These pits and mounds are situated north of a field system.

The earthworks do not correspond with any pit or bank features in this location on the mid-19th century Parish Tithe Map, or on later available historic maps. They are interpreted as medieval or post-medieval extractive or prospecting pits, with associated spoil heaps, for possible tin.
