Earthworks of linear and curvilinear banks and ditches, between 2m and 4m wide, are visible on aerial imagery taken from 1946 onwards and on visualisations derived from lidar data captured in 2013. The visible earthworks are predominantly northeast to southwest and northwest to southeast aligned and define at least two rectilinear land parcels, circa 80m wide. They do not correspond with any linear or curvilinear features in this location on the mid-19th century Parish Tithe Map, or later available historic mapping. They are interpreted as relict field boundaries of a potential late prehistoric field system, although a medieval origin is also possible.
