Summary

Walled field system around the Whiteworks Tin Mine recorded from 1977 aerial image. There are a number of trial pits, shafts and openworks, as well as deserted buildings, in the area. The field system is on an east-facing slope above the Strane River and Foxtor Mires (there is ridge and furrow at SX 6120 7120).

Walled field system around the Whiteworks Tin Mine recorded from 1977 aerial image. There are a number of trial pits, shafts and openworks, as well as deserted buildings, in the area. The field system is on an east-facing slope above the Strane River and Foxtor Mires (there is ridge and furrow at SX 6120 7120).
The field systems boundaries are: 1. The Devonport Leat between SX 6071 7057 and SX 6115 7128. 2. The wall between SX 6071 7057 and SX 6149 7080. 3. The wall between SX 6115 7128 and SX 6154 7015.
