Name:Hut on the south side of a reave

Summary

A well defined hut circle near the foot of a NE slope, in stone-free moorland pasture, and overlooking a broad re-entrant. The hut circle is isolated, but only 6.0m from the Venford Reave (SX 67 SW 96). It has an internal diameter of 5.5m, with walling about 1.8m wide and 0.4m high but no recognisable entrance. The walling comprises small and medium stones, retaining some inner and outer facing slabs.

(29/03/1989) A well defined hut circle, at SX 63267244, near the foot of a NE slope, in stone-free moorland pasture, and overlooking a broad re-entrant. The hut circle is isolated, but only 6.0m from the Venford Reave (SX 67 SW 96). It has an internal diameter of 5.5m, with walling about 1.8m wide and 0.4m high but no recognisable entrance. The walling comprises small and medium stones, retaining some inner and outer facing slabs.
