(08/12/1996) Centred SX 69297020. A disturbed tinwork adjacent to the Holne to Hexworthy road opposite the entrance to Middle Stoke Farm. The broad Y-shaped working is around 2.0m deep and was fed by a number of small leats and channels at its W end. The E end is cut by the road. The nature of this working, whether it is eluvial, fed by the channels to the W, or whether it was formerly an openwork, is unclear as the interior has been disfigured by later tracks and buildings.
