Full description

Royal Air Force, 1946, RAF/CPE/UK/1890, 2462-2463 (Aerial Photograph). SDV169268.

Royal Commission on the Historical Monuments of England, 1985, Aerial Photograph Project (Dartmoor) - Dartmoor Pre-NMP (Cartographic). SDV319854.

Oval enclosure with a hut circle in the north. It is attached to a bank in the south. It is within a forest as marked on 1954 os 1:10560 map, but is visible as an apparent vegetation mark within the new plantations on RAF 1946 aerial photograph.

(20/10/1993) Centred SX 65487628. Hut circle, enclosure and field boundary (RCHME APP 1985).
There is no ground evidence to confirm the presence of the features depicted on the RCHME APU transcription. The area described by the NGR lies in a dense coniferous plantation with much debris obscuring the forest floor.
