Summary

The course of a dry leat channel flows north-east to south-west across watershed dividing the Doe Tor Brook and the Willsworthy Brook. The leat starts on the Doe Tor Brook and follows a sinuous course around the 400m contour before ending at the Willsworthy Brook. Disturbed by tracks and military activity over much of its length it measures, on average, 1.3m wide and 0.4m deep. Its purpose was to augment the flow of the Willsworthy Brook to facilitate the supply to the Wheal Jewell Reservoir.
