Name:Enclosure 'E' within Langstone Moor settlement, Peter Tavy

Summary

Enclosure 'E' within Langstone Moor settlement is a curvilinear enclosure at the south-eastern end of the settlement. A hut circle 4.7 metres in diameter is shown in the centre of the enclosure with a small stone mound to the west. A small hut 3.4 metres in diameter on the northern edge of the enclosure was excavated in 1894. Fragmentary sections of boundary wall are shown extending to the north-west and south-west of the enclosure. Two detatched hut circles are shown to the north of the enclosure and a large 5.6 metre diameter excavated hut circle with a 1.1 metre high door jamb is shown to the west.

Enclosures 'F' and 'G' within 'Langstone Moor settlement'. Two conjoined enclures at the south-eastern end of the settlement with five associated hut circles.
