Full description
Crowley, J., 1957, Sundials in North Devon, 177-178 (Article in Serial). SDV273904.
Eastacombe Farm, Cawton. Sundial dated 1737. Elaborate dial placed near main entrance to the house. By means of a complicated arrangement of figures and lines the time is shown at all hours of the day at Jerusalem and Barbadoes, while noontide only is shown at Gos, Ispahan, Constantinople, Candia, Vienna, Rome, Hamburg, Lisbon, Corvo, Clinda, St. Catherine's and Charles. Dial cut on slate and is in a fairly good state of preservation. Other details: Fig 5.
