Field system visible on 1947 aerial photograph extending south to SX 6930 8190.

(20/01/2000) Centred SX 69518263. The abandoned remains of two medieval or later field systems flank the Curlicombe Brook. The eastern system extends from the present edge of cultivation and covers an area of 0.8ha and is bounded by turf and stone banks around 2.0m wide and up to 1.1m high. The second system, to the west of the stream, occupies 1.6ha and has been truncated by the present B3321. Traces of narrow ridge and furrow are discernible in both field systems.
