(06/01/1990) SX 6741 8451. The feature depicted on the RCHM APU transcription (1985) is situated on a slight terrace above the right bank of Metherall Brook.
It consists of a stoney cairn, which measures 7.2m N-S by 5.5m E-W, with an amorphous off-centre hollow. It is not a hut circle and is almost certainly a stone clearance cairn associated with the extensive clearance activity in Yardworthy Newtake.
