Earthworks of a further five possible hut circles are also visible circa 350m to the northeast.

Griffith, F. M. + Robinson, R., 1986, Hut circles on Henlake Down (Site Visit). SDV143323.
Group of five probable hut circles on the summit of Henlake Down. The diameters of these circles measure between 6.0 – 10.0 meters. Two could possibly be ring cairns. Details and sketch survey on worksheet. Other details: Sketch included.

This site was considered for designation as a Scheduled Ancient Monument during the Monument Protection Programme. The programme ended before the entire list of sites was successfully scheduled so this is included on a local list of Nationally Important Sites.

Earthworks of curvilinear banks, circa 3m wide, of at least three possible Bronze Age or Iron Age hut circles, two of which enclose or partly enclose shallow sub-circular hollows, circa 7m diameter, are visible on visualisations derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2017. The earthworks are situated within the remains of a late prehistoric field system (MDV126823). Earthworks of a further five possible hut circles are also visible circa 350m to the northeast (MDV126829, MDV126830, MDV126831, MDV126832 & MDV126833).
