Summary

A garland cross or blue stone is named and depicted on the tithe map just north of the parish boundary on the west side of the road (kenton). Vis=17/8/1982 (os). The road has been widened to a dual-carriageway and no remains of the stone could be found. No other reference to it could be found and although it may have been nothing more than a point for fixing the boundary the names are of interest (os).
