SX 660577 Two hut circles were observed at Western Beacon during field survey. (DCRA Reg SX 65 NE/26/1 and 26/2)

Hurrell, H. G., 1977, West Glaze Brook medieval settlement (Worksheet). SDV142081.

Two fragmentary hut circles situated in a bog on western beacon near West Peeke. Probably part of a group now vanished because of clearance of the ground. Vestiges of a hut with a huge immovable rock forming part of the back wall can be seen. The hut has a south-east aspect.
