Leat on RAF 1947 aerial image at SX 5360 8356 on southern slope of Willsworthy Range. From approximately SX 5305 8328 (exact point indistinct due to army disturbance) to SX 5383 8384, where it enters streamwork crf: SX58SW/144.

(11/07/1998) SX 53868390 to SX 52628321. A dry leat channel formerly carrying water from the upper reaches of the Willsworthy Brook to Wheal Jewell Reservoir. The now silted and overgrown channel has been disturbed by military activity in this area but can still be traced for most of its length as a ditch 1.2m wide and up to 0.8m deep with a bank on its downslope side. At its W end it joins a still used channel that continues to supply Wheal Jewell
The origin of this feature is unknown but, from examination of map evidence, it is likely to be in the 20th century.
