(May 1976) 321m OD. Ugborough. A large cairn, uncovered stones of no more than medium size. The site is subject to a great deal of modern disturbance and the cairn is without shape. Measurements are practically useless.

Cairn consisting of stone and earth base surmounted by a mound of stones measuring 25m in diameter and 1.8m high. Visitors have moved stones around to form shelters.

Western Beacon SX 6556 5769 Ring cairn on level, east-south-east hillslope. Internal diameter measures 4m with bank 0.7m wide and 0.2m high.
[NB: Turner's grid reference seems suspect and this location is supported by the aerial evidence, as well as later sources. Records merged. Richards, A. F., 13/12/2021].
