Name:Cairn '19' (Butler) on Weatherdon Hill, Harford

Summary

'Cairn 19' (Butler) on the summit of Weatherdon Hill is a stony mound of 25 metres diameter by 1 metre high with an outer rim 0.8 metres wide by 0.7 metres high. Several hollows around south and west sides are probably shelters. It is one of a series of large cairns along the ridge between Butterdon Hill and Weatherdon Hill.

(24/03/1950) Cairn on Weatherdon Hill is a badly mutilated cairn. Accurate measurement is impossible, but it is about 20 metres in diameter by 1.75 metres high.

A pile of medium sized stones. No sign of excavation, but the whole has been very much disturbed. The centre is not hollow. Approximate diameter 15 metres to 20 metres by height 1.80 metres.
