Youlden Farmhouse.
Farmhouse. Probably mid/late 17th century altered in 20th century. Rendered granite rubble walls with rendered stone stack to right-hand gable end with dripmoulds. Thatched roof to front, raised above first floor windows, slated to rear, with gable ends.
Appears to be a two-room plan house with a central passage, the lower right-hand room is probably the kitchen and the left-hand room the parlour, both rooms heated from gable and stacks. Said to have had staircase beside fireplace at each end (one now removed) which suggests it was either originally a pair of one-room plan cottages or converted into a pair of cottages. Rear 19th century outshut along full length of house.
Two storeys. Asymmetrical three window front of 20th century casements, 2- and 3-lights with glazing bars. Two 3-light casements on ground floor with 20th century plank door roughly central between them. Stone outshut against left gable end.
Interior not inspected but roof timbers known to be 19th/20th century replacements.
