A shallow earthwork pit was visible on aerial photographs of 1966 on the south-west facing spur south-west of Tub Corner, Broadclyst. The pit is probably the remains of a former Marl Pit, as depicted on the Ordnance Survey first edition 25inch map.

A roughly circular shallow earthwork pit circa 25 metres in diameter was visible on aerial photographs of 1966 on the south-west facing spur south-west of Tub Corner, Broadclyst. The pit is probably the remains of a former Marl Pit, as depicted on the Ordnance Survey first edition 25inch map. The pit is also depicted on the Tithe Map for Broadclyst and therefore predates the 1840s.
